Job title: Business Development Representative
Role Summary: Identify, engage, and nurture prospective clients in the design, architecture, contracting, and building sectors, positioning the company as a trusted supplier of premium windows, doors, and cladding solutions. Drive early-stage prospecting, hand off qualified leads to project consultants, and optionally manage the full sales cycle from presentation through closing.
Expactations: Demonstrated success in prospecting and relationship building within the construction or building‑materials industry; strong network or connections with designers, architects, contractors, and builders; persistence, self‑motivation, and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with project consultants and other internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted research to identify potential clients in design, architecture, construction, and building markets.
- Initiate outreach and develop long‑term relationships with prospects to position the company as their primary windows and doors supplier.
- Accurately document outreach activities, pipeline status, and relationship progress in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with project consultants to hand off qualified leads for product presentations, quoting, and closing.
- (Optional) Present premium product portfolio to prospects, prepare and deliver quotes, and manage the sales process through to contract signing.
- Monitor and report on pipeline metrics, revenue contribution, and client satisfaction indicators.
Required Skills:
- Proven business development, sales, or account‑management experience, preferably in construction, building materials, or related sectors.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills; ability to establish trust and credibility quickly.
- Self‑motivated, persistent, results‑oriented with a history of achieving or surpassing targets.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of premium building products (windows, doors, cladding) is an advantage.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and willingness to travel within the specified region.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
- No mandatory certifications required; industry or product‑specific training is a plus.
