Job Description
Job title: Marketing Intern Role Summary: Assist Brand and Shopper Marketing teams over a 4‑plus month internship by driving event coordination, campaign activation, customer experience management, and trend analysis for a leading FMCG brand across Belgium and the Netherlands. Expectations: • Minimum 4‑month commitment (preferably longer) to see projects to completion. • Proactive, collaborative attitude with genuine interest in marketing and brands. • Fluent in English, proficient in Dutch and French. • Knowledgeable in marketing fundamentals, gained through studies, projects or prior internships. Key Responsibilities: • Organize events, partnerships, and sponsorships, including creating a sponsorship toolkit for activities such as the 20 km of Brussels. • Develop and execute brand support assets and activations across media, digital, retail, and horeca channels. • Own and manage the Spa Baby & Family Program: oversee newsletters, loyalty program, and website content. • Monitor market trends, compile insights, and present findings to the marketing team to inform future campaigns. • Provide day‑to‑day support to Brand Managers and Shopper Marketeers, gaining a 360° view of marketing operations. Required Skills: • Project coordination and time‑management capabilities. • Strong written and verbal communication, with fluency in English and proficiency in Dutch and French. • Creative thinking and attention to detail in asset creation and campaign execution. • Basic understanding of marketing principles, digital tools, and analytics. • Ability to analyze trends, synthesize insights, and communicate them clearly. • Collaborative, open‑mind, and eager to learn.
