**Job title:** GxP IT Systems Engineer, Manufacturing and Labs
**Role Summary:** Provide hands‑on support, maintenance, and optimization of GMP‑compliant IT systems on a manufacturing and laboratory site. Bridge operational technology and information technology to ensure system availability, data integrity, and regulatory compliance while collaborating with engineering, QA/QC, and digital teams.
**Expactations:** Deliver 24/7/365 support, meet defined SLA targets, maintain accurate documentation, participate in change control, comply with GxP regulatory requirements, and adapt to shift or weekend work as production demands.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Support and troubleshoot GMP IT systems (servers, workstations, printers, barcode scanners, HMI, Thin Manager, etc.).
- Serve as first‑line contact for manufacturing system incidents; resolve tickets within SLA.
- Manage Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, file and print services.
- Execute change, patch, and maintenance activities under formal change control; document evidence and keep approved state.
- Monitor system performance and stability using Dynatrace, Splunk, and PagerDuty; proactively address capacity or performance issues.
- Deploy and maintain cybersecurity solutions (CrowdStrike, vulnerability mitigation, certificate management).
- Maintain inventory, reference configurations, topology documentation, and CMDB accuracy.
- Administer end‑user devices (PCs, laptops, iOS devices), including OS, MS Office, third‑party apps, hardware repair, data wiping, and asset tracking.
- Coordinate with automation, engine, QA/AQ, and digital core teams to restore services, schedule maintenance windows, and communicate outages and root‑cause summaries.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of GxP/GLP IT systems and regulatory compliance.
- Proficient with Windows Server, VMware/Hyper‑V, AD, DNS, DHCP, file/print services, time‑sync protocols.
- Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Splunk, PagerDuty) and endpoint security (CrowdStrike).
- Familiarity with CMDB/ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
- ITIL framework understanding and change management skills.
- Excellent troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis, and problem‑resolution abilities.
- Strong communication skills and customer‑service orientation.
- Capacity to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or similar virtualization credential.
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator or Azure Administrator.
- Security+ or equivalent cybersecurity credential (preferred).
