Job title: Vice President of Security and Experience
Role Summary: Provide executive leadership for security, fan experience, and technology-enabled guest interactions across Intuit Dome, Kia Forum, and other Halo Sports & Entertainment venues. Own strategic vision, operational execution, and budget stewardship to ensure safe, secure, and fan‑focused event environments that meet high‑profile NBA, concerts, and entertainment standards.
Expactations: Deliver a seamless, secure event experience; maintain compliance with all applicable safety and regulatory requirements; lead diverse teams; operate 24/7 with flexible scheduling; track and report KPI performance; engage with external agencies, internal stakeholders, and top‑tier partners (NBA, artists, visiting teams).
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead strategy and planning for Security, Fan Experience, and Tech Host functions, creating operating plans, staffing models, and budgets.
- Own development and execution of Emergency Operating Plans, escalation protocols, and incident response across venues.
- Oversee CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and command center integration with operations.
- Manage relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement, fire/life safety, and medical providers.
- Direct Fan Experience hosts: staffing, training, service culture, hospitality standards, and fan engagement activities.
- Supervise Tech Host team: mobile ticket scanning, digital wayfinding, app support, and technology‑enabled guest interactions.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Ticketing, Technology, Building Operations, Business Insights & Analytics, and other internal departments.
- Monitor and report on KPIs (safety incidents, fan satisfaction scores, response times, operational efficiency).
Required Skills:
- Proven executive leadership and team development in large event‑security environments.
- Deep knowledge of physical security, risk management, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency with security technology (CCTV, access control, intrusion detection).
- Strong hospitality and fan‑experience focus.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
- Project management, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Professional certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP), Certified Security Manager (CSM), or equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience with state and federal security regulations and event‑specific best practices.
