Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Job Description: Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager Role Summary: Lead end‑to‑end mechanical projects in the oil & gas sector, from proposal development through delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards while maintaining regulatory compliance and client satisfaction. Expectations: * Deliver projects on time, within budget, and to defined quality targets. * Ensure all work meets applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards. * Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and clients. * Promote safety, quality, and performance excellence across all project phases. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and manage the Project Execution Plan (scope, schedule, cost). - Coordinate engineering, procurement, and construction activities. - Assign team roles and manage resource allocation. - Control deliverables, man‑hours, and design changes. - Prepare and review proposals, technical submissions, and contract documentation. - Oversee client communications and stakeholder engagement. - Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Required Skills: - 15+ years of project management in oil & gas. - Strong mechanical engineering background with field experience. - Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities. - Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities. - Bilingual proficiency (French/English) is an asset. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering. - Membership or eligibility for a provincial professional engineering order (e.g., P.Eng.). - Demonstrated track record of successful project delivery in the oil & gas industry.
