**Job Title**
High Voltage Project Manager – Utility & Renewables
**Role Summary**
Lead end-to-end management of high‑voltage substation and transmission line projects for utility‑scale renewable energy assets. Oversee multiple EPC initiatives simultaneously, ensuring on‑time, on‑budget delivery, quality compliance, and successful commissioning across the organization.
**Expectations**
* 5–10+ years of project management experience in high‑voltage utility or renewable infrastructure.
* Engineer by training with a professional engineering license (PE) preferred.
* PMP certification is highly desirable.
* Proven ability to manage full‑life‑cycle projects from conception to commissioning, with strong commercial and technical leadership.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Own project P&L, budgeting, risk, and contingency planning.
* Direct subcontractors, EPC contractors, engineers, and consultants, ensuring quality and timeline adherence.
* Conduct design reviews, constructability assessments, and enforce compliance with permits, regulations, and safety standards.
* Develop and maintain project schedules (Primavera/MS Project), critical path, and earned‑value KPIs.
* Lead commissioning, installation, testing, and hand‑over activities; coordinate site‑based construction management.
* Drive gap analysis, mitigation of threats, and milestone tracking for interconnection systems.
**Required Skills**
* High‑voltage substation/transmission EPC project management.
* Contractor evaluation & selection, financial oversight, contract negotiation, and constructability reviews.
* Expertise in regulatory approvals, permitting, procurement, and commissioning.
* Proficiency in Primavera, MS Project, and Critical Path Method scheduling.
* Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving abilities.
**Required Education & Certifications**
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
* Professional Engineer (PE) license – Electrical and/or Civil Engineering (preferred).
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification – preferred.
