Job Title: Investment Associate Role Summary: Support acquisition, underwriting, due diligence, investor communication, and asset management for single‑family and multi‑family real‑estate properties, driving portfolio growth and value creation. Expactations: Deliver thorough financial analysis, accurate market assessments, timely investor updates, and effective business plan execution that align with investment goals and performance targets. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze and underwrite prospective investment opportunities, including rent‑roll evaluations and property inspections. - Develop and present investor materials and internal reports using Excel and PowerPoint. - Conduct comprehensive due diligence: legal document review, market analysis, and financial model development for acquisition, operation, and disposition cash flows. - Monitor asset performance, support budgeting and variance analysis with property management teams. - Prepare regular investor updates and internal reports; assist with acquisition closings and post‑acquisition integration. - Collaborate with senior leadership on strategy and receive additional assignments as directed. Required Skills: - Advanced financial modeling in Excel (projection of cash flows, sensitivity analysis, NPV, IRR). - Proficiency in creating financial and operational performance reports (Excel dashboards, PowerPoint presentations). - Strong written and verbal communication; ability to articulate complex financial concepts. - Self‑motivated, proactive “can‑do” mindset; thrives in small, agile, high‑performing teams. - Detail‑oriented analytical approach with strong organizational and time‑management skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting, or related field. - 3–5 years of experience in real‑estate asset management, preferably with single‑family and/or multi‑family properties across diverse markets. - Demonstrated proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with real‑estate financial modeling and reporting.
