**Job Title:** Artificial Intelligence (AI) Internship – Hybrid Remote **Role Summary:** Provide hands‑on support for AI initiatives focused on predictive maintenance, cybersecurity anomaly detection, and data‑driven decision making. Engage in model evaluation, data preparation, tool integration, and documentation while adhering to governance and privacy standards. **Expectations:** - College student, junior level or above, pursuing Informatics, AI, CS, CE, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field. - Monday‑Friday schedule, up to 40 hours per week, flexible hours, hybrid work option. - Commitment to ongoing learning and adherence to the organization’s AI Policy and data privacy rules. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and test AI models for predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and decision support. - Integrate AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, generative AI platforms) into business workflows under guidance. - Prepare and clean datasets for training, ensuring compliance with data governance and privacy requirements. - Document AI use cases, workflows, and risk assessments in line with the AI Policy. - Collaborate with Governance Committee on AI product assessments and vendor evaluations. - Monitor AI outputs for accuracy; perform Human‑in‑the‑Loop reviews. - Research emerging AI trends and recommend safe, effective adoption strategies. **Required Skills:** - Familiarity with machine learning concepts, large language models, and generative AI. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities; detail orientation in compliance environments. - Basic programming proficiency in Python (preferred). - Understanding of data privacy principles and governance. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Current enrollment as a junior or higher in a bachelor’s program (Informatics, AI, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or related field). - No specific certifications required; knowledge of relevant AI/ML tools and privacy frameworks preferred.
