Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and ops teams to deliver high‑performance, secure services, mentor junior engineers, and continuously improve system reliability and efficiency. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready code in a fast‑paced, agile environment. - Maintain architectural standards, security compliance, and coding quality. - Mentor and grow junior developers. - Engage cross‑functionally to align technical solutions with business goals. - Own performance tuning and infrastructure health. **Key Responsibilities** - Architect, code, and deploy robust backend services using modern technologies. - Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices that scale horizontally. - Design database schemas and data models for SQL and NoSQL stores; optimize queries. - Monitor system metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements. - Enforce security best practices, conduct code reviews, and ensure compliance with industry standards. - Mentor junior engineers, conduct knowledge‑sharing sessions. - Collaborate with product managers, frontend developers, and DevOps to define requirements and roadmaps. **Required Skills** - 7+ years of backend development experience. - Proficient in at least one of Java, Python, or Node.js. - Deep knowledge of relational (SQL) and non‑relational (NoSQL) databases. - Experience designing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures. - Hands‑on with cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/K8s). **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience. - Optional certifications: AWS Certified Developer, Azure Developer Associate, or similar cloud credentials.
