About the Company

Fibracast Ltd. is the global innovator and manufacture of FibrePlate™, the new MBR technology with the revolutionary flow through design. Developed by the original industry pioneers of the first immersed hollow-fiber membranes, FibrePlate™ is the inevitable result when (30+) years of advancements and lessons learned combine together into a unique solution offering. FibrePlate takes UF membrane innovation to the next level in performance and operations by solving the most common problems plaguing conventional iHF membranes today; Fiber Breakage, Sludging, Debris Collection, Hydraulic Restrictions, Cleaning Frequency, Foot Print Size and more... FibrePlate™ was conceived with the end user in mind, to solve operational problems. By fusing the best of two technologies into one; Hollow Fiber and Plate & Frame and adding some new innovation, a new level in membrane performance was born. The unique hybrid approach allows for the renowned “Vertical” header operational design and “RAS Energy” scouring. Only a vertical header allows for “Free-Flow” of RAS over the entire active membrane surface with no hydraulic restrictions, aeration by-passing or debris collection issues found in other technologies. Additionally, with a vertical header design, RAS Energy can now be employed as the primary scouring mechanism in place of air, resulting in substantial energy savings.
