Job Description
Job Title: Chief Technology Officer Role Summary: Own the global technology strategy, architecture, and delivery for a SaaS platform, ensuring scalable, secure, and reliable systems that support business growth and customer trust. Expectations: Senior executive authority over technology vision, budget, and vendor relationships; strategic thinker who balances high‑level goals with detailed execution, and drives a culture of performance, innovation, and customer focus. Key Responsibilities: - Define long‑term technical direction and architecture for scalable cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). - Lead distributed engineering, platform, and DevOps teams; establish standards, delivery discipline, and operating rhythms. - Scale engineering organization, mentor talent, and sustain high‑performance culture. - Advance data, AI, and enterprise SaaS capabilities while maintaining operational stability. - Ensure cloud security and compliance with regional regulatory requirements. - Partner with Product, Sales, and Operations to align roadmaps with market needs and customer impact. - Represent technology in executive forums, board meetings, and external partnerships. - Own technology budget, cloud vendor negotiations, and financial stewardship. Required Skills: - Proven senior tech leadership (CTO, VP Engineering, or equivalent) in global SaaS/enterprise software. - Deep expertise in cloud platforms, modern SaaS architecture, and DevOps practices. - Experience scaling engineering teams across multiple regions and time zones. - Regulatory compliance knowledge for enterprise environments. - Strong financial acumen and vendor relationship management. - Ability to translate strategy into executable plans and influence cross‑functional stakeholders. - Excellent communication, leadership, and talent development skills. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - MBA considered an asset. - Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect) are preferred.
