Job Title: Demand Planning Manager
Role Summary:
Lead end‑to‑end demand planning for a fast‑moving consumer packaged goods (CPG) brand. Develop consensus forecasts, manage S&OP cycles, and align sales, supply chain, and operations to ensure inventory meets demand while minimizing risk.
Expectations:
- Deliver accurate, bias‑free forecasts and maintain high KPI standards.
- Facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and influence leadership on demand decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement of forecasting models, tools, and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own demand consensus planning using SPINS, Nielsen, shipment, and business‑intelligence data.
- Lead monthly S&OP, present KPI reviews, and lock in final forecasts.
- Partner with supply planning, logistics, and operations to align inventory and capacity.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, service level, and inventory health; identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain and optimize demand planning systems (NetSuite, Modus, Parabola, etc.).
- Support new product launches, discontinuations, and promotions via scenario planning and modeling.
- Provide ad‑hoc analyses to connect volume and sales demand to broader operations.
- Manage/mentor a small team, fostering analytical rigor and collaboration.
Required Skills:
- Strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
- Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with demand planning systems (NetSuite, Modus, Parabola).
- Familiarity with SPINS and Nielsen data.
- Deep understanding of S&OP processes, forecasting methodologies, and inventory management.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and influence skills.
- Detail‑oriented, continuous improvement mindset.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Statistics, or related field (advanced degree a plus).
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply‑chain management within CPG or food/beverage industries.
