**Job Title** C# .NET Back‑End Developer (F/M) **Role Summary** Experienced C#/.NET back‑end developer to strengthen a French development team working on the group’s e‑commerce sites. Responsible for designing, developing, and supporting secure, high‑performance e‑commerce solutions while collaborating with US engineering partners in an Agile environment. **Expectations** - Senior level with proven experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core and JavaScript. - Strong grasp of unit and automated testing frameworks. - Comfortable working in an English‑driven, Agile (Scrum) setting. - Technical curiosity and self‑directed problem‑solving attitude. - Effective collaboration with cross‑functional teams across continents. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, code, and maintain scalable, secure e‑commerce back‑ends using .NET technologies. - Apply best software‑development practices to ensure high quality and performance. - Prioritise work items, participate in sprint planning, and adjust tasks within Scrum ceremonies. - Automate repetitive processes through the development or enhancement of scripts. - Identify, propose, and implement performance, security, and architectural optimisations. - Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for both internal and US‑based teams. - Pair program with the existing developer and mentor junior team members as needed. **Required Skills** - **Programming**: C#, .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET Core. - **Front‑to‑Back Integration**: JavaScript, basic understanding of web front‑end stacks (HTML/CSS). - **Testing**: NUnit/MSTest, xUnit, or similar; experience with automated test suites (Unit, Integration, End‑to‑End). - **Architecture**: Knowledge of RESTful APIs, microservices, MVC/EF Core patterns. - **E‑commerce**: Familiarity with e‑commerce platforms (Sitecore, Shopify, etc.) and payment integrations. - **Performance & Security**: Profiling, caching strategies, authentication/authorization best practices. - **Agile Practices**: Scrum ceremonies, backlog grooming, reflective retrospectives. - **Communication**: Fluent English (written & spoken); ability to liaise with international teams. - **Soft Skills**: Proactive learning, independent initiative, strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Optional certifications: Microsoft Certified: .NET Developer, Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), or relevant technical credentials. ---
