**Job Title:** IT Director **Role Summary:** Lead the end‑to‑end IT function for a manufacturing enterprise, aligning technology strategy with business objectives, driving digital transformation, and ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant IT operations across all company sites. **Expectations:** - Deliver an integrated IT roadmap that supports long‑term business goals. - Manage a team of 20+ IT professionals, including 8 direct reports. - Coordinate with Group IT and other business units to standardise services globally. - Oversee major IT projects, including SAP S/4HANA rollout and capacity‑extension initiatives. - Maintain compliance with ISO 27001, NIS‑2, and IEC 62443 cybersecurity standards. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Strategic Planning** – Define and execute IT strategies that enable business growth and digital maturity. 2. **Project Management** – Plan, monitor, and deliver complex projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards. 3. **Team Leadership** – Mentor, coach, and develop a high‑performance IT team; foster collaboration and continuous improvement. 4. **Resource & Vendor Management** – Allocate resources effectively and manage supplier contracts and performance. 5. **Risk & Security Management** – Identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and ensure cybersecurity compliance. 6. **Stakeholder Communication** – Keep business leaders informed of IT initiatives, progress, and value delivered. 7. **Quality Assurance & Governance** – Enforce industry best practices, audit processes, and corporate governance of information. 8. **Information Management** – Standardise data definitions, ensure regulatory compliance, and support enterprise data strategy. 9. **Global Service Enablement** – Collaborate with Group IT to globalise IT services and standardise operating models. **Required Skills:** - Proven IT leadership in an industrial/manufacturing setting. - Strong project management (PMP/PRINCE2) and resource coordination. - Expertise in IT service management (ITIL) and application lifecycle (SAP, ERP). - Deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (ISO 27001, NIS‑2, IEC 62443). - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. - Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and negotiation abilities. - Vendor and supplier relationship management. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. - Relevant certifications: PMP or PRINCE2, ITIL® Foundation/Expert, ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, SAP S/4HANA Certified Application Associate (preferred). ---
