**Job Title:** IT Manager
**Role Summary:**
Hands‑on leader responsible for all internal IT operations, device lifecycle management, and information security programs. Acts as the primary technical liaison for employees, ensures a secure and efficient technology environment, and supports SOC 2 compliance and risk management initiatives.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver reliable, secure IT services to onsite and remote staff.
- Maintain and improve security posture, aligning with SOC 2 requirements.
- Manage IT budgets, vendors, and project delivery on schedule.
- Provide clear communication and timely support across the organization.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Serve as the main point of contact for all employee IT requests (Tier 1‑2 support).
- Administer core SaaS platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, Slack) and MDM solutions.
- Oversee access provisioning, de‑provisioning, and periodic permission reviews.
- Manage device procurement, imaging, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
- Maintain office infrastructure (Wi‑Fi, printers, conference rooms, network equipment).
- Lead onboarding and off‑boarding workflows, including device and account setup.
- Document and enhance security processes: IAM, incident response, vulnerability management.
- Conduct risk assessments, drive remediation, and support SOC 2 audit activities.
- Enforce security policies (MFA, endpoint protection, password standards, privileged access).
- Monitor system performance, availability, and endpoint health; perform patching.
- Oversee IT budgeting, vendor negotiations, and procurement.
- Execute IT projects such as upgrades, migrations, and new system rollouts.
**Required Skills:**
- Strong knowledge of SOC 2 controls, audit practices, and risk mitigation.
- Proficiency with identity management (Okta) and Google Workspace administration.
- Experience managing macOS, Windows, and MDM tools (Kandji, Jamf, Intune, Mosyle, Meraki).
- Solid troubleshooting across networking, devices, SaaS platforms, and VPNs.
- Ability to implement and enforce security policies and compliance audits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; strong customer service orientation.
- Project management and vendor management capabilities.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field **or** equivalent professional experience.
- 3–5+ years of hands‑on experience in IT management, operations, or security.
- Demonstrated experience with SOC 2 compliance (formal certification not required).
