**Job title:** Software Engineer III – Adobe Commerce Web Development
**Role Summary:**
Senior full‑stack developer responsible for designing, building, and maintaining custom Adobe Commerce modules, themes, and integrations. Supports cloud‑based server rollouts (AWS, Azure, GCP) and collaborates with DevOps, QA, Product, and Design teams to deliver scalable, secure e‑commerce solutions.
**Expectations:**
- Deliver high‑quality code within fast‑paced, agile sprints.
- Manage own workload with strict time management.
- Communicate effectively across cross‑functional teams.
- Provide occasional travel to UK and non‑UK offices.
- Be flexible for out‑of‑hours support when required.

**Key Responsibilities:**
- Design, develop, and maintain Adobe Commerce custom modules, themes, and third‑party integrations.
- Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams to provision, deploy, and manage cloud‑based web servers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ensure application performance, scalability, and security across the Adobe Commerce stack (PHP, MySQL, RabbitMQ).
- Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and production‑ready documentation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex front‑end and back‑end issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, Docker containerization, and Git repository management.
- Operate in Linux environments, configure Nginx/Apache, and utilize monitoring tools for performance oversight.
- Conduct security reviews and apply best practices for cloud and e‑commerce environments.
**Required Skills:**
*Technical:*
- Advanced proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and MySQL.
- Deep expertise in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) custom module development and theming.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and third‑party integrations.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud services; experience in server provisioning.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git workflow.
- Comfortable with Linux, Nginx/Apache, and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- DevOps fundamentals: containerization, orchestration, automated deployment, configuration management, and log aggregation.
