Job Description: **Job Title:** AI Engineer (Consultant) **Role Summary:** Design, implement, and operationalize end-to-end production-grade AI systems for clients, including agents, automation, infrastructure, and security. Collaborate with senior teams across strategy and technical execution to translate AI ideas into reliable solutions. **Expectations:** - Senior-level collaboration with client teams on technical execution and strategic AI architecture. - Autonomous problem-solving for production AI challenges and prototyping-to-production transitions. - Influence project direction, tooling evolution, and process improvements. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement AI agents, autonomous workflows, and LLM integrations. - Develop and secure RAG pipelines, data access controls, and internal APIs. - Modernize infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows for AI systems. - Debug complex production issues spanning models, data, and infrastructure. - Enhance AI system observability, evaluation frameworks, and safety guardrails. **Required Skills:** - Strong software engineering expertise (Python; additional experience with TypeScript/SQL preferred). - Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, pgvector), and orchestration. - Proficiency in infrastructure, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), containers, and CI/CD. - Security-focused mindset for AI system resilience and failure mode analysis. - Excellent communication for client-facing collaboration and technical documentation. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related technical field. - Proven track record in AI/ML system development; industry certifications (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure cloud, ML/AI) advantageous.
