Job Description
Job title: Systems Engineer – Mid‑Senior Level Role Summary: Lead system engineering for large DoD programs, translating high‑level requirements into architecture, design, and integration plans. Own technical integrity of deliverables, develop documentation, and provide expertise on secure network design and HAIE devices. Maintain TS/SCI clearance with full scope polygraph. Expectations: 14‑20 years of systems engineering experience in DoD or equivalent contracts; proven leadership on multi‑year, complex systems. Must hold TS/SCI clearance with CI or full‑scope polygraph. Strong understanding of DoDAF, secure network design, and high‑assurance certification frameworks. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze user requirements, COR documents, and system architectures to produce detailed specifications. • Lead design and development activities, guiding requirement formulation and feasibility studies. • Develop system architecture, design documents, and integration/test plans. • Provide technical leadership on integration of requirements, design, and technology. • Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. • Interface with government stakeholders on technical issues, conflicts, and program status. • Ensure technical integrity of all work products and deliverables. Required Skills: • System engineering in DoD environments. • Expertise with HAIE devices (operation, configuration, keying, testing, specification, maintenance). • Familiarity with DoDAF, secure network design, and high‑assurance certification. • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication abilities. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or equivalent (or 5 yrs SE experience in lieu of degree). • TS/SCI clearance with CI or full‑scope polygraph. • High‑assurance certification (e.g., CMMC Level 3+ or equivalent).
