Job Description
**Job Title** Cyber Security Engineer (Rail/Metro) **Role Summary** Provide expert advisory and assurance services for railway cybersecurity throughout planning, design, and procurement stages of large infrastructure projects. Develop security frameworks, conduct risk assessments, guide compliance with international standards, and perform vulnerability assessments to safeguard rail/metro systems. **Expectations** - 8–15 years of cybersecurity experience, with 3–5 years specific to the rail/metro sector. - Proven track record in consultancy or advisory roles on large-scale infrastructure or railway projects. - Familiarity with project lifecycle stages: design, tendering, system integration. **Key Responsibilities** - Define vulnerability assessment (VA) test plans prior to testing. - Perform grey‑box VA in lab test environments. - Conduct comprehensive scans: network, host, application, and database to identify vulnerabilities. - Compile detailed VA reports and provide briefings to stakeholders. - Re‑test identified findings within the test window and update reports accordingly. - Review OS configurations against applicable CIS benchmarks. - Deliver optional re‑test services for addressed findings with updated reporting. **Required Skills** - Vulnerability assessment & penetration testing (network, host, application, database). - Security risk management and mitigation aligned with IEC 62443, CIS, and other international frameworks. - Familiarity with CENELEC 50126/50128/50129 railway safety/security standards. - Technical reporting and communication to cross‑functional teams. - Knowledge of railway system integration and project lifecycle. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity, IT, Electronics, or Railway Engineering. - Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, IEC 62443 Certified Expert, CEH, or equivalent. - Desired knowledge of CENELEC 50126/50128/50129.
