**Job title**
Supervisor, Infrastructure & Cybersecurity
**Role Summary**
Lead the day‑to‑day operations of the organization’s enterprise technology infrastructure and cybersecurity functions. Provide technical and managerial oversight to a team of infrastructure and security specialists, ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient delivery of municipal technology services.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise, coach, and develop a technical staff of infrastructure and cybersecurity professionals.
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain data centres, servers, storage, LAN/WAN, wireless, firewalls, identity, access, and cloud platforms.
- Provide tier‑three technical leadership for incident management of outages, performance issues, and cyber events.
- Lead threat monitoring, vulnerability management, identity & access management, endpoint detection & response, and incident response planning and testing.
- Oversee disaster recovery, business continuity, and backup programs—including design, documentation, and testing.
- Develop and maintain operating procedures, technical documentation, training materials, and operational playbooks.
- Plan, budget, coordinate, and deliver infrastructure and cybersecurity projects, including vendor and stakeholder engagement.
**Required Skills**
- Strong knowledge of networking (LAN/WAN, VPN, routing, switching), server & storage technologies, and cloud infrastructures (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Expertise in firewall, IDS/IPS, VPN, SD‑WAN, identity and access management, endpoint security, and vulnerability assessment tools.
- Incident response, threat intelligence, and risk management experience.
- Project management, budget oversight, and vendor management.
- Leadership and mentorship abilities, with strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, MCSE, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, PMP or equivalent preferred.
