Job title: Business Analyst Role Summary: Analyze and manage invoice processing workflows, maintain vendor relationships, and identify process improvements to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations. Expectations: - Process invoices on time and with high accuracy. - Maintain clear, proactive communication with vendors and internal stakeholders. - Use analytical skills to monitor, assess, and reconcile invoices. - Suggest and implement process enhancements that increase effectiveness and reduce cycle times. Key Responsibilities: - Process, review, and reconcile invoices against purchase orders and contracts. - Serve as the primary vendor point of contact for questions, disputes, and follow‑ups. - Collaborate with procurement, finance, and operations to streamline invoice workflows. - Track invoice metrics, report variances, and recommend corrective actions. - Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements for the vegetation management and broader invoice lifecycle. Required Skills: - Proficiency with enterprise work‑management and financial platforms (SAP, Ariba, or similar). - Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data validation) and data‑analysis capabilities. - Strong organizational and time‑management abilities; can prioritize multiple deadlines. - Excellent written and verbal communication; adept at vendor and stakeholder engagement. - Proactive problem‑solving, critical thinking, and independent decision‑making in fast‑paced environments. - Experience in vendor relationship management and relationship building.
