Job Title: Internal Support Systems Specialist Role Summary: Provide internal support for technology and data tools within an education organisation, ensuring reliable operation and user adoption of digital learning platforms. Expectations: Deliver responsive assistance to staff, maintain system performance, and support continuous improvement of internal systems. Key Responsibilities: • Respond to and resolve help‑desk tickets and user inquiries. • Monitor and maintain learning management systems, data analytics tools and related infrastructure. • Update and maintain documentation, knowledge bases and user guides. • Collaborate with IT, education specialists and external vendors to troubleshoot and implement solutions. Job Description
Job title: Internal Support Technician Role Summary: Provide in‑house technical support to educational staff, ensuring reliable operation of hardware, software, and network resources used in teaching and learning. Act as the first point of contact for incident reporting, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with wider IT teams to resolve problems efficiently. Expectations: - Respond to support requests in a timely manner and maintain high customer satisfaction. - Keep accurate records of incidents, resolutions, and recurring issues. - Participate in ongoing learning to stay current with educational technology and industry best practices. - Uphold data protection and IT security standards in all interactions. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and resolve Windows, macOS, and mobile device issues for users. - Install, configure, and maintain office productivity suites, learning management systems, and classroom software. - Manage peripheral devices (projectors, printers, audio‑visual equipment) and ensure network connectivity. - Identify and prioritize recurring problems, escalating to specialized teams when necessary. - Deliver basic training or guidance to users on software and hardware functions. - Maintain inventory of hardware and software licenses, reporting discrepancies. - Create and update knowledge base articles and user guides. Required Skills: - Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences. - Familiarity with troubleshooting tools, remote assistance software, and ticketing systems. - Team‑player attitude with independent work capability.
