Key Responsibilities - Plan, execute, monitor and close multiple improvement projects in healthcare settings. - Apply standardized PM methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile, PMI) and risk‑management processes. - Collaborate with senior service leads to identify priorities, set objectives and define success metrics. - Produce and maintain accurate project documentation, status reports and decision logs. - Lead, coach and develop project teams, fostering teamwork and accountability. - Ensure projects meet regulatory standards, safeguarding, and compliance with national health policies. - Contribute to organisational efficiency and productivity initiatives through continuous improvement. Required Skills - Demonstrated experience in healthcare or transformation project management. - Strong knowledge of PM frameworks (PRINCE2, PMI, Agile). - Expertise in risk and change management. - Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation and negotiation skills. - Leadership with ability to develop and motivate teams. - Proactive problem‑solving, innovation and analytical thinking. Job title: Data Protection Facilitator Role Summary: Deliver specialist information governance support and advice to up to 23 NHS General Practices, serving as the primary contact for data protection matters on behalf of the Board’s Data Protection Officer. Expectations: Manage independent workload, coordinate audits and monitoring across all practices, travel within the NHS Borders area, hold a valid driving licence, comply with UK work‑rights requirements, and adhere to updated criminal records checks if applicable. Key Responsibilities: - Provide expert guidance on data protection legislation, national guidelines, and Caldicott Principles. - Advise GP practices on completing the Information Asset Register, maintaining Privacy Notices, and developing staff training materials. - Prepare templates for GP contractors to document processing activities. - Conduct internal audits of personal data processing procedures and assess compliance for the wider NHS Borders organisation. - Plan, manage, and coordinate audit and monitoring functions across all practices to demonstrate regulatory compliance. - Offer specialist support to the broader NHS Borders Information Governance team.
