Job title: Sitecore Developer
Role Summary:
Responsible for maintaining, securing, and optimizing a Sitecore XM 10.2 environment while preparing for migration to XM Cloud. Focus on backend development, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of secure development practices.
Expactations:
- Deliver stable Sitecore implementations and secure configurations.
- Align with architects, security, and DevOps teams to meet technical and compliance standards.
- Maintain high availability and observability across on‑prem and cloud components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain XM 10.2 until cutover to XM Cloud, ensuring content parity and smooth transition.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation across Sitecore instances, pipelines, and modules.
- Perform code reviews emphasizing performance, scalability, and security.
- Optimize platform performance via caching, database tuning, and CDN/WAF enhancements.
- Strengthen observability by improving monitoring, logging, and alerting (e.g., Application Insights, Azure Monitor).
- Participate in SLA/OLA definitions, incident, and change management processes.
- Support feature freeze policy; apply only security, compliance, and stability fixes.
- Document all technical and security changes per governance and audit requirements.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years Sitecore back‑end development (C#/.NET) with security and performance focus.
- Extensive experience with Sitecore XM 10.2 installation, pipelines, configuration, patching, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of web app security (OWASP, secure headers, encryption, CSRF, XSS).
- DevOps & CI/CD expertise (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions) for Sitecore deployments.
- SQL Server performance tuning and Sitecore content delivery scaling.
- Experience with WAF/CDN (F5, Azure Front Door, Cloudflare) integration.
- Application observability tools (Application Insights, Seq, Kibana).
- TOGAF 10.2 understanding and documentation skills.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, independent and team work, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of French and/or Dutch; fluent English.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
- Certifications in Sitecore (if available) and relevant security or DevOps credentials preferred.
