**Job title** Senior C++ Engineer (Low Latency / HTF) **Role Summary** Design, build, and maintain high‑performance, low‑latency trading systems for a global crypto spot and derivatives trading firm. Lead technical decisions, improve system efficiency, and ensure reliability in a high‑frequency trading environment. **Expectations** - Deliver production‑ready C++17/20+ solutions with measurable latency and throughput gains. - Partner with traders, quants, and DevSecOps to translate business requirements into robust software. - Maintain and evolve a live high‑frequency trading platform with zero compromises on stability or performance. **Key Responsibilities** - Shape technical roadmap, architecture, and engineering standards. - Develop low‑latency market‑making, order routing, and risk management modules. - Connect to crypto exchanges via FIX, WebSocket, REST, and proprietary protocols; build real‑time ingestion pipelines. - Optimize memory usage, implement lock‑free concurrent code, and apply kernel‑bypass networking where appropriate. - Conduct code reviews, performance testing, simulations, and profiling to sustain high throughput. - Troubleshoot and resolve live production issues on HFT desks. - Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders on strategy implementation and back‑testing. - Mentor junior engineers and enforce coding best practices. **Required Skills** - Advanced C++ (17/20) with strong low‑latency, concurrent programming expertise. - Proven experience in high‑frequency trading, market making, or proprietary trading systems. - Deep knowledge of lock‑free data structures, multi‑threading, CPU internals, and performance tuning. - Network programming using TCP/UDP; experience with kernel‑bypass (e.g., DPDK, RDMA) is a plus. - Custom memory allocator design and efficient memory management. - Familiarity with order‑book mechanics and market‑making strategy fundamentals. - Experience interfacing with crypto exchange APIs and handling high‑rate data streams. - Linux systems‑level development, debugging, and profiling skills. - Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, production‑critical environment. - Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration. **Required Education & Certifications** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). ---
