**Job title:** Cloud Solutions Architect
**Role Summary:** Design, build, and govern Microsoft‑based cloud solutions for U.S. Government initiatives, ensuring technical excellence, security, and seamless integration across large, multi‑team projects.
**Expactations:**
- Deliver end‑to‑end architectural design and deployment of enterprise Azure solutions.
- Provide strategic technical guidance to senior government stakeholders.
- Lead cross‑functional teams through full project lifecycle while maintaining schedule and budget compliance.
- Maintain and elevate security posture, ensuring Top‑Secret (SCI Poly optional) clearance compliance.
**Key Responsibilities:**
1. Architect, test, and deploy scalable Microsoft cloud services (Azure, Office 365, Dynamics) for data analytics and AI workloads.
2. Develop and document architecture diagrams, system specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
3. Advise on strategic direction for ITBI initiatives, including AI, ML, and advanced analytics.
4. Engage with multiple development teams to align technical direction and promote standardized practices.
5. Conduct technical reviews, risk assessments, and security evaluations of production and upcoming systems.
6. Track progress, manage milestones, and report status to program leadership.
7. Prepare strategic planning documentation (e.g., OMB Form 300) and security briefings.
8. Mentor team members, fostering knowledge transfer and professional growth.
**Required Skills:**
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure infrastructure, PaaS, IaC (ARM/PowerShell, Azure CLI), and security controls.
- Strong understanding of data analytics platforms, AI/ML services (Azure Cognitive, ML Studio).
- Experience with identity and access management (Azure AD, Conditional Access).
- Proficiency in systems testing, performance tuning, and database administration (SQL Server, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB).
- Knowledge of mobile, web, and enterprise integration technologies.
- Proven project management, strategic planning, and stakeholder communication abilities.
- Ability to analyze complex mission‑critical systems and recommend actionable improvements.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Certified Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (or equivalent).
- U.S. citizenship required; Top‑Secret clearance (SCI Poly optional for future needs).
