Job Description
**Job Title:** Business Development Manager – Regional Sales **Role Summary:** Drive revenue growth within a designated region by managing a portfolio of existing accounts and prospecting new customers for powered access equipment and related services. Identify sales opportunities, expand market share, and achieve quarterly and annual targets. **Expectations:** - Meet or exceed sales quota and OTE (30% of base salary). - Maintain and grow relationships with key account stakeholders. - Deliver accurate sales forecasts and pipeline updates. - Represent the company professionally in the field, adhering to compliance and safety standards. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Manage a regional portfolio of accounts that purchase powered access machines. 2. Prospect and qualify new business opportunities to expand the customer base. 3. Conduct needs assessments and present tailored solutions (equipment, financing, service contracts). 4. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize share‑of‑wallet. 5. Collaborate with internal teams (operations, service, finance) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. 6. Track sales activities in CRM, generate reports, and provide regular pipeline reviews. 7. Attend industry events and trade shows to promote brand and generate leads. **Required Skills:** - Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in equipment, machinery, or industrial services. - Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities. - Ability to analyze customer needs and develop consultative solutions. - Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills. - Self‑motivated, target‑driven with a track record of meeting sales targets. - Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. - Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). - Relevant sales or industry certifications are a plus but not mandatory.
