**Job Title** Head of Talent (12‑month FTC) **Role Summary** Lead and manage all talent acquisition and resourcing activities across the organization, ensuring strategic alignment with business needs, compliance with employment law and GDPR, and optimal ROI. Drive process efficiencies, maintain high candidate experience, and collaborate with stakeholders to secure top talent for multiple professional service lines. **Expectations** - Deliver a comprehensive recruitment strategy that meets volume and quality targets. - Maintain a balanced recruitment budget and provide accurate reporting on spend and ROI. - Cultivate a fair, inclusive, and candidate‑centric environment while meeting commercial objectives. - Provide leadership to the talent team, fostering high performance and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities** - Develop and execute recruitment and talent management strategies for all service lines. - Partner with team leaders to create ongoing recruitment plans and understand unique hiring needs. - Oversee the entire hiring process: job advertising, CV screening, interviewing, assessment, offer negotiation, and onboarding. - Use data analytics to identify trends, optimise processes, and report metrics to senior leadership. - Manage the recruitment budget, ensuring cost‑effective spend and clear ROI metrics. - Monitor and reduce voluntary attrition; support teams in retaining key talent. - Lead market data reviews and support annual remuneration reviews to ensure competitive and fair pay structures. - Manage talent marketing activities: career website, advertising platforms, and social media initiatives. - Ensure compliance with UK employment law and GDPR throughout all recruitment activities. **Required Skills** - Proven experience in talent acquisition within professional services, including agency and executive search. - Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time‑management abilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication, relationship‑building, and influence skills. - Ability to work independently, maintain accuracy, and drive projects forward. - Strategic thinking with a consultative recruitment approach. - Proficiency with applicant tracking systems and intermediate MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). - Knowledge of UK employment law relevant to hiring practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Minimum university degree (preferred in Business, Human Resources, or related field). - Professional HR qualification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM‑CP) preferred but not mandatory.
