**Job Title**: Senior DevOps Engineer
**Role Summary**: Lead the design, deployment, and optimization of scalable, secure infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines to support application platforms. Focus on cloud-native solutions, automation, and system reliability across development and production environments.
**Expectations**: Deliver operational excellence through hands-on engineering, mentorship, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure fast, safe software delivery.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud and on-prem infrastructure.
- Own and enhance CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and security teams to improve workflows and system observability.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using modern tools and best practices.
- Monitor system reliability, performance, and security via logging, alerting, and incident response.
- Optimize cloud resource efficiency, cost, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Enforce security practices (access controls, secrets management, compliance).
- Troubleshoot production incidents and drive root-cause resolution.
- Mentor engineers on DevOps, reliability, and operational excellence.
- Oversee full operational lifecycle from provisioning to monitoring and optimization.
**Required Skills**:
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and cloud-native architectures.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipeline design and automation tools.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
- Solid grasp of Linux systems, networking, and security fundamentals.
- Monitoring/logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
- Agile/Scrum collaboration with software engineering teams.
- Infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
**Required Education & Certifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS SysOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD tools) preferred.
