Job Description

Job title: Consultant SAP SAC Planning Role Summary: Provide end‑to‑end expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Planning to design, deploy, and optimize planning and forecasting models for finance and supply‑chain stakeholders. Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams to integrate SAC with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BW environments, ensuring high performance and adherence to best architectural practices. Expectations: - Deliver comprehensive SAC Planning solutions that meet business requirements for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis. - Maintain timely and accurate integration between SAC and source SAP HANA/BW systems. - Ensure models and dashboards are scalable, performant, and aligned with enterprise data governance. - Act as a technical and functional liaison between Finance, Supply Chain, IT, and business users. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement SAC Planning models (budget, forecast, scenario) using data actions and advanced formulas. - Configure and maintain data integration pipelines between SAC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA, and SAP BW. - Apply industry‑standard architecture and performance tuning practices to SAC deployments. - Provide training, documentation, and support to end users, ensuring adoption and proficiency. - Conduct gap analysis and recommend enhancements to improve planning processes and data quality. Required Skills: - Deep expertise in SAP Analytics Cloud – Planning (modeling, data actions, formulas). - Strong foundational knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP BW technologies. - Understanding of financial planning processes: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline. - SAP Analytics Cloud – Planning certification (or equivalent practical certification/training). - Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP BW integration preferred.
