**Role Summary**
Lead and manage the end‑to‑end investment process for a mission‑driven family office focused on high‑impact sectors such as Agriculture, Energy Access, Affordable Housing, and Financial Inclusion. Own multiple transactions, perform rigorous financial analysis, and drive portfolio performance while applying impact‑focused metrics.
**Expectations**
- 3–9 years of professional experience in corporate finance, M&A, leveraged finance, private equity or private credit.
- Proven track record in private debt deals and complex financial modeling.
- Strong analytical mindset with hands‑on experience in sourcing, due diligence, portfolio monitoring, and exit execution.
- Passion for and knowledge of emerging markets (Sub‑Saharan Africa, South‑East Asia).
- Commitment to Sustainable Impact Investing and ability to integrate impact assessments into investment decisions.
- Ability to work autonomously in a flat, collaborative environment and influence senior stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Source, evaluate, and structure new investment opportunities across early‑stage and growth‑stage impact companies and funds.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis, build valuation models, and assess risk‑return profiles.
- Manage investment lifecycle including negotiating terms, monitoring performance, and orchestrating exits.
- Develop and refine investment processes, including impact measurement frameworks and reporting tools.
- Lead special research projects on market dynamics, regulatory trends, and innovation in impact sectors.
- Collaborate with the sourcing team and senior investment professionals to align investment decisions with the organization’s strategic objectives.
**Required Skills**
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation (DCF, LBO, M&A).
- Experience in private debt structuring and credit analysis.
- Expertise in corporate finance (M&A, leveraged finance) and private equity/credit operations.
- Strong research skills – market analysis, competitive landscape, regulatory environment.
- Ability to communicate complex investment rationale to diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial databases (Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
- Comfortable working independently, managing multiple concurrent deals, and delivering high‑quality outputs under tight deadlines.
- Passion for impact investing and awareness of ESG/SDG metrics.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related quantitative field.
- Master’s degree or advanced finance coursework is a plus.
- Professional certifications such as CFA, CAIA, or similar are highly desirable.
- Continuous learning in impact metrics, ESG frameworks, and emerging market fundamentals is expected.
