Job Description

**Job Title** Data Scientist – Therapeutic Antibody Development **Role Summary** Provide end‑to‑end data science support for therapeutic antibody assets from lead discovery to clinical trials. Drive design‑build‑test‑learn cycles, create data pipelines, and deliver actionable insights to cross‑functional teams in a fast‑moving biotech environment. **Expactations** - Deliver statistically sound analyses and visualisations for experimental data. - Translate biological questions into analytical workflows and machine‑learning models. - Enable reproducible, production‑ready data pipelines and code. - Collaborate proactively with wet‑lab scientists, program leads, and software engineers. **Key Responsibilities** 1. Design, implement, and optimise data pipelines for sequence, structural, and functional antibody data. 2. Perform advanced statistical analyses (Bayesian, mixed‑effect modelling) on experimental results. 3. Build and validate ML models that predict therapeutic potential and guide candidate selection. 4. Produce clear visualisations and dashboards to communicate insights to stakeholders. 5. Deploy code to cloud environments, maintain version control, and ensure reproducibility. 6. Participate in cross‑functional optimisation cycles, proposing experimental candidates and evaluating outcomes. 7. Maintain rigorous documentation of methods, assumptions, and results. **Required Skills** - Proficiency in Python (pandas, numpy, sklearn, pandas‑profiling, etc.) and SQL. - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and version control (Git). - Strong background in applied statistics, including Bayesian inference and hierarchical models. - Ability to process and analyse complex biological datasets (antibody sequences, structural data). - Skills in data visualization (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or similar). - Excellent communication and teamwork in interdisciplinary settings. - Familiarity with ML pipelines, model deployment, and continuous integration practices. **Required Education & Certifications** - Master’s or Ph.D. in Biomedical Data Science, Biostatistics, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field. - Demonstrated experience in biomedical data science or biostatistics applied to therapeutic development.
