Job Description
Job Title: Quality Control Intern Role Summary: Support the Quality Control team by performing routine testing and analysis of UV inks, maintaining laboratory records, assisting with audits, and ensuring proper equipment calibration and safety compliance. Expactations: Part‑time internship focused on gaining hands‑on experience in a laboratory environment with a focus on ink technology and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct routine quality control tests of UV inks to confirm compliance with specifications. - Perform stability and UV dispersion testing on manufactured batches and in‑process samples. - Adjust raw material formulations as required and record all results. - Maintain detailed logs of all tests, results, and equipment calibrations. - Prepare samples and documentation for internal and external audits. - Manage inventory of laboratory consumables and chemicals. - Perform regular maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab instruments (viscometers, spectrophotometers, balances). - Adhere to laboratory safety protocols, handle chemicals responsibly, and ensure proper disposal. Required Skills: - Strong attention to detail and strict adherence to SOPs. - Effective written and verbal communication for accurate record‑keeping. - Basic competency with laboratory equipment and safety practices. - Analytical mindset for interpreting test data and reporting results. - Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team. Required Education & Certifications: - Current enrollment in, or completion of, a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Chemistry, Science, or a related field. - Familiarity with UV ink technology or printing industry processes is desirable. - Prior laboratory experience (internship, academic lab work) preferred.
