**Job Title**: Director, Enterprise Architecture and Process Integration
**Role Summary**: Provide enterprise-wide architectural vision, strategy, and IT roadmap, ensuring technology alignment with business objectives across a global organization. Lead architecture for SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration, functional solution design, and cross‑functional process integration while driving cost optimization and productivity enhancements.
**Expectations**: Deliver a cohesive, business‑driven architecture that supports growth, maintain technical consistency, and cultivate a service‑driven culture. Influence strategic governance, engage senior leadership, and manage change across global teams.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Define enterprise architectural vision, strategy, and roadmap.
- Lead SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration planning and execution across all active systems.
- Provide functional solution architecture for Finance (RTR), Commercial (OTC), Procurement (STP/PTP), Supply Chain (SCM/QM/Mfg.), Global Trade & Compliance, and Analytics/BI.
- Partner with Cyber, Digital, Infrastructure, Cloud, Privacy, Quality & Compliance, and Global Process Owners to adopt best‑practice processes.
- Build and mentor an Abbott‑first focused architecture team and establish a community of architectural excellence.
- Develop and enforce global standards, principles, and reference models for application, data, security, and infrastructure architecture.
- Influence organization’s architecture strategy, engage with senior management, and maintain accountability structure.
- Leverage emerging technologies (AI/ML, cloud, IoT) to enhance business value.
**Required Skills**
- SAP ERP architecture expertise, particularly SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, SAP BTP, SAC, and RISE‑with‑SAP.
- Deep understanding of cross‑functional business processes (commercial, manufacturing, quality, regulatory, legal, procurement, supply chain).
- Proficiency in SAP architecture design, tenant integration, data strategy, analytics, and AI/ML capabilities.
- Strong IT delivery methodology, governance, and change‑management knowledge.
- Executive communication, strategic thinking, and motivational leadership.
- Supplier management experience with SAP, OpenText, Oracle, Microsoft, AWS, Alibaba.
- Ability to solve complex problems, influence across cross‑divisional/global teams, and drive architectural best practices.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related technical field with ≥15 years of experience, *or* advanced degree with ≥12 years of experience.
- Professional certifications: SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework (LeanIX EAM), SAP Certified Professional – Enterprise Architect, TOGAF, or equivalent.
