Job title: IT Project Manager
Role Summary:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT initiatives across a national residential portfolio. Bridge the gap between technology and operations, ensuring projects meet scope, timeline, quality, and business needs.
Expectations:
- Successful management of multiple concurrent IT projects from inception to completion.
- Proactive identification and mitigation of risks, dependencies, and stakeholder concerns.
- Clear, timely communication of status, budget, and resource needs to the IT Director and cross‑functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation for hardware, software, and integration projects.
- Coordinate project kick‑offs, weekly status meetings, and cross‑functional checkpoints.
- Monitor progress against milestones, adjust resources, and drive issue resolution.
- Assist the IT Director in prioritizing initiatives, setting goals, and reporting on project performance.
- Manage vendor relationships, contract renewals, procurement, and subcontractor oversight.
- Serve as liaison between IT vendors, end‑users, and corporate/site teams for rollout and adoption.
- Support testing, quality assurance, SOP creation, and training material development.
- Facilitate change‑management activities, including communication plans, training delivery, and adoption strategies.
Required Skills:
- Project Management: PMP/CAPM or equivalent experience; strong knowledge of PM frameworks.
- Communication: Clear presentation and stakeholder‑management skills; ability to translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.
- Analytical: Problem‑solving and data‑driven decision making.
- Organizational: Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize work, and ensure on‑time delivery.
- Collaboration: Experience working cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced, regional environment.
- Travel: Willingness to travel periodically to properties and regional offices.
Required Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3‑5 years of project‑management experience; real‑estate or property‑management exposure preferred.
- PMP or CAPM certification a plus.
- Familiarity with residential‑property‑management software and operational workflows.
