Job Description

Job Title: DevOps / Cloud Platform Engineer (AWS / Terraform) Role Summary: Design, build, and operate a secure, scalable AWS platform using Terraform, enabling product teams to deploy quickly through standardized golden paths and self‑service mechanisms. Participate in migrations from on‑premise to AWS. Expectations: - Long‑term assignment with an emphasis on operational excellence. - Proactive, autonomous execution with a service‑oriented mindset. Key Responsibilities: - Architect and implement multi‑account AWS environments (IAM, EKS/ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3). - Develop and maintain Terraform modules, ensuring code quality, versioning, and reusability. - Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing. - Enforce security best practices: IAM policies, network segmentation, compliance checks. - Implement observability: logging, metrics, alerts, and incident response. - Mentor and support cross‑functional teams on platform usage and best practices. - Contribute to on‑premise to AWS migration projects. Required Skills: - 3+ years of hands‑on experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering. - Deep expertise in AWS services and Terraform infrastructure‑as‑code. - Proven experience with CI/CD, cloud security, and observability tooling. - Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, etc.). - Excellent communication, collaboration, and service‑drive. - Self‑motivated, able to operate independently in a fast‑moving environment. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Associate. - Terraform Associate certification is a plus.
