**Job Title:** ServiceNow Software Engineer
**Role Summary:**
Design, develop, test, and maintain ServiceNow modules and workflows in an agile environment. Lead integration projects, ensure security compliance, and provide post‑deployment support for enterprise ServiceNow implementations.
**Expectations:**

- Apply information security best practices throughout development.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams and perform design/code reviews.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Build, configure, and maintain ServiceNow modules (ITSM, CSM, ITOM, ITBM, Security Operations, Knowledge Management, Service Catalog, and Analytics).
- Develop and optimize workflows, catalog items, and automated business rules.
- Create, promote, and test ServiceNow update sets across multiple instances.
- Design, prototype, develop, test, debug, and document software applications in Agile sprints.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external systems (e.g., SAP, VeraSmart, Clarity) via inbound/outbound APIs.
- Conduct design and code reviews, providing constructive feedback to teammates.
- Administer post‑implementation support and troubleshooting for deployed solutions.
**Required Skills:**
- Proficient in JavaScript and HTML.
- Deep experience with ServiceNow development, including update sets, workflows, and system architecture.
- Hands‑on with ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release, Discovery), CSM, ITOM (Event Management, Discovery), ITBM (Demand, Software Asset Management), and Security Operations (Vulnerability Response).
- Experience with Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework.
- Strong API integration skills (inbound/outbound) and familiarity with third‑party integrations (SAP, VeraSmart, Clarity).
- Expertise in CMDB, Knowledge Management, Service Portals, and Analytics modules.
- Ability to work in an Agile/Scrum environment, performing prototyping, testing, and documentation.
**Required Education & Certifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related IT field.
- Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow enterprise environment experience, including IT operations and application development.
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Implementation Specialist – ITSM, ITOM, or ITBM) are strongly preferred.
