**Job Title**
Associate Director, Platform Engineering (ServiceNow)
**Role Summary**
Lead the ServiceNow practice, managing a team of analysts, engineers, and specialists. Drive platform strategy, architecture, and delivery to empower enterprise teams—Prod Ops, App Dev, EA, IAM, HR, Finance, Cyber, and others—to operate efficiently, securely, and at scale through automation, integrations, and AI‑enhanced workflows.

- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for a high‑performing team.
- Translate business requirements into robust, reusable applications and integration patterns.
- Maintain governance, compliance, and risk controls across all ServiceNow processes.
**Key Responsibilities**
1. **Production Operations Enablement** – Design and optimize Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management workflows; integrate observability tools (BigPanda, OpsRamp, Datadog, etc.) for automated incident creation and enrichment.
2. **Platform Architecture & Governance** – Govern a shared CMDB, enforce data modeling best practices, expose reusable applications, integration stubs, and approval processes; deliver telemetry, KPIs, and performance dashboards.
3. **Application Development Support** – Enable AppDev through self‑service catalogs, DevSecOps automation (GitHub, Jenkins, Azure, AWS), and prebuilt fulfillment scripts for DNS, firewall, storage, and tooling.
4. **Identity & Access Management** – Build secure, auditable access workflows, integrate with identity providers, enforce least‑privilege models, and provide entitlement visibility and audit trails.
5. **HR Service Delivery** – Scale HRSD for onboarding/offboarding, case management, and document workflows; integrate with Workday; ensure PII protection via scoped apps, ACLs, encryption, and retention policies.
6. **Cybersecurity & Compliance** – Automate policy attestation, risk tracking, and vulnerability feeds; implement PCI/PII controls, access reviews, and encryption across ServiceNow.
7. **Stakeholder Collaboration** – Partner with enterprise architecture, security, and business units to align platform strategy, support digital transformation, and drive continuous improvement.
**Required Skills**
- ServiceNow architecture, platform administration, and development (Flow Designer, Script Includes, REST/SOAP integration).
- DevOps/DevSecOps practices: CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, AWS.
- Identity and Access Management concepts, SSO, LDAP/AD, IAM workflows.
- ITIL framework and best practices for ITSM, ITOM, ITBM.
- Governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) integration.
- Strong leadership, team management, stakeholder communication, and project management.
- Analytical mindset with experience delivering metrics, dashboards, and performance KPIs.
**Required Education & Certifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – ITSM and/or ITOM.
- ITIL Foundation (or higher) certification.
- Additional certifications in IAM, cybersecurity, or DevOps (e.g., CISSP, PMP, AWS/Azure certifications) considered a plus.
