Job Description

**Software Engineer** **Role Summary** Support stabilization and updates for an active defense software program, focusing on code consolidation, build/release processes, and compliance with formal development procedures. Requires rapid onboarding to existing codebases with limited documentation. **Expectations** Short-term, 3-month project with potential extension. Onsite presence required 3 days/week for integration activities. **Key Responsibilities** - Debug and optimize legacy C#/.NET code in a limited-documentation environment. - Execute software builds, releases, and configuration management procedures. - Collaborate on stabilization efforts and adherence to regulated development processes. **Required Skills** - Proficient in C#/.NET and WPF GUI application development. - Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Serena, OpenText Dimensions CM). - Familiarity with full software development lifecycle (SDLC) in regulated/safety-critical domains. - Ability to analyze and modify undocumented or minimally documented systems. **Required Education & Certifications** - Proven experience in software engineering for regulated industries. - Mandatory SC security clearance. - Desirable: Working knowledge of DO-178C Level D standards.
