Job Description
Job title: Software Developer Co‑op/Intern Role Summary: Collaborate with a software development team to design, develop, test, and maintain web and desktop applications using C#. Focus on writing clean, efficient, and well‑commented code, participating in the full software development life cycle, and contributing to user interface design and database integration. Expactations: - Apply object‑oriented programming principles to build functional modules independently. - Communicate design decisions and technical concepts clearly to peers and senior staff. - Balance multiple project tasks in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and enhance web applications, including GUI design and user experience. - Produce maintainable, commented code following industry best practices. - Design, test, and implement software features and database components. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (developers, designers, product managers) to deliver new functionality. - Troubleshoot and resolve UI, application, and database issues. - Support full SDLC activities: requirement analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance. Required Skills: - Proficient in C# and object‑oriented development. - Experience with WPF, Windows Forms, or ASP.NET for desktop or web apps. - Strong back‑end development skills; familiarity with SQL and relational databases. - Ability to design clean, intuitive user interfaces. - Excellent verbal and written communication. - Problem‑solving aptitude and ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects. Required Education & Certifications: - Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. - Knowledge of the SDLC and modern development practices. - (Optional) Certifications in C#, .NET, or database technologies.
