Job Description
**Job title:** Business Intelligence Reporting Analyst **Role Summary:** Provide advanced analytics and BI reporting to support business units and executive decision‑making. Design, develop, manage, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports, automate processes, troubleshoot issues, and train users. Act as a project resource for key business initiatives and collaborate cross‑departmentally to deliver actionable insights. **Expectations:** * Deliver accurate, timely executive‑level dashboards and reports. * Continuously improve BI solutions and data storytelling. * Uphold data governance, security, and access controls. * Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders of varying technical levels. * Manage multiple priorities with strong organizational and time‑management skills. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI solutions (dashboards, reports). 2. Integrate data from OData, SharePoint, Salesforce, NAV/D365, and web APIs. 3. Apply DAX, M (Power Query), SQL, and Power BI Report Builder for custom calculations. 4. Implement and update row‑level security; conduct periodic access reviews. 5. Troubleshoot user issues and refine existing reports. 6. Automate manual reporting workflows using Power BI Desktop and Power Automate. 7. Train and support end users, promoting self‑service BI adoption. 8. Assist FP&A manager with business‑unit reporting and financial insights. 9. Document BI processes, procedures, and data definitions. **Required Skills:** * Proficiency with Power BI (desktop & service), DAX, M (Power Query), SQL. * Experience designing executive‑level KPI dashboards and financial reports. * Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities. * Excellent verbal and written communication; skill in data storytelling. * Ability to work cross‑functionally and to manage competing priorities. * Knowledge of manufacturing data (e.g., BOM, costing methodologies) is a plus. **Required Education & Certifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field. * Minimum 3 years of BI reporting or data analysis experience. * CPA designation (current or working towards) is a bonus.
