**Job Title:** Cybersecurity Analyst **Role Summary:** Monitor, analyze, and remediate cybersecurity threats. Collaborate on incident response, vulnerability management, and security improvements. Develop reports and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. **Expectations:** - Investigate security alerts and remediate threats. - Analyze log data using SIEM, vulnerability scanners, and network monitoring tools. - Support incident response protocols and post-incident reviews. - Track and escalate active threats while staying updated on threat intelligence. - Participate in annual penetration testing and audit follow-ups. - Generate security reports, risk assessments, and compliance metrics. - Ensure asset configuration compliance via CMDB and adhere to banking regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform 24/7 monitoring of security tools to detect and investigate incidents. - Execute vulnerability scans, prioritize remediation, and track metrics. - Enhance endpoint and perimeter security solutions. - Coordinate cross-functionally to resolve security events and vulnerabilities. - Maintain threat intelligence awareness and communicate emerging risks. - Validate control effectiveness through periodic risk assessments. **Required Skills:** - Proficiency in SIEM, vulnerability management, EDR, cloud security (e.g., Microsoft O365), and network security tools. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Exceptional written/verbal communication and organizational abilities. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 2–4 years IT security experience (preferred: SOC experience). - Security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH) preferred. - Familiarity with asset management policies and financial sector compliance.
