Job Title: Senior Sales Manager / Key Account Manager (13‑Month Contract) Role Summary: Lead and mentor a two‑person sales team, driving growth, profitability, and strategic partnerships with key retail and distributor accounts. Execute customer‑specific business plans, build long‑term relationships, and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver results. Expectations: • Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets for assigned accounts. • Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with buyers and distributor partners. • Deliver data‑driven business reviews and negotiate contracts and promotional terms. • Forecast demand, manage inventory, and control trade spend to maximize ROI. • Mentor direct reports and foster a high‑performance culture. • Travel as needed to support account activities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead, coach, and develop a team of two direct reports. 2. Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with company objectives. 3. Required Skills: - 5+ years in CPG, retail, or related sales/account management. - Proven track record of managing national or key accounts with measurable growth. - Experience leading and developing direct reports. - Strong analytical skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel and sales analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Nielsen, IRI). - Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. - Knowledge of trade marketing, category management, and omni‑channel retail (ecommerce & brick‑and‑mortar). - Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment and willing to travel. Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
