Job Description

**Job Title** Backend Developer (Mid‑level) **Role Summary** Develop and maintain robust backend services using Node.js and TypeScript, ensure high code quality, and support DevOps processes to keep the technical environment stable and reliable. **Expectations** - Write clean, well‑documented code and maintain comprehensive tests. - Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with product and engineering teams. - Participate in technical decision‑making and code reviews. - Operate comfortably in English technical documentation. **Key Responsibilities** - Design, implement, and maintain backend services (Node.js, TypeScript, Fastify, MikroORM). - Conduct code reviews and continuously improve code quality, documentation, and testing coverage. - Collaborate with product team on feature evolution and requirements. - Assist with Docker containerization and troubleshoot related issues. - Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar). - Monitor and manage Linux VM environments, logging, and alerting. - Handle PostgreSQL database tasks: migrations, backups, performance tuning. - Work with RabbitMQ for messaging integration. - (Optional) Support internal Ember.js frontend components. **Required Skills** - Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript. - Experience with Fastify, MikroORM, and PostgreSQL. - Good practice with Docker and container orchestration. - Familiarity with CI/CD tools, preferably GitHub Actions. - Solid Linux command‑line and basic networking knowledge. - Understanding of RabbitMQ messaging. - Ability to write clear documentation and communicate pragmatically. - Comfortable reading technical English. **Required Education & Certifications** - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, **or** equivalent professional experience. - Relevant certifications (e.g., Docker, AWS, Linux) are a plus but not mandatory.
