Job Description
Job Title: Computer Vision Pipeline Engineer Role Summary: Design, build, and operate end‑to‑end computer vision pipelines that ingest real‑world video, run inference, and deliver results with high reliability, latency, and throughput. Expectations: Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience developing production‑grade CV or ML systems. Proven ability to move models from research notebooks to robust, scalable pipelines and to troubleshoot failures in real‑world data. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement image/video pipelines (ingestion → preprocessing → inference → post‑processing). - Deploy CV models as scalable services or batch pipelines in cloud or on‑prem environments. - Optimize pipelines for latency, throughput, and cost, balancing GPU/CPU resources. - Handle diverse video sources (RTSP, files, cameras) and address data quality issues (lighting, angle, occlusion). - Implement model versioning, monitoring, and feedback loops for continuous improvement. - Collaborate with backend and platform teams to expose APIs and integrate infrastructure. Required Skills: - Strong background in computer vision (object detection, classification, tracking, OCR, etc.). - Proficiency with OpenCV and a deep learning framework (PyTorch or TensorFlow). - Experience packaging and deploying models as services or pipelines (Docker, APIs). - Familiarity with cloud platforms and container orchestration. - Ability to debug production CV issues (lighting, false positives, pose variations). Required Education & Certifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience). ---
