Job Description: **Job title** Senior Consultant – Business / Data Analyst – Financial Services **Role summary** Serve as the key link between business units and IT teams, leading end‑to‑end analytics and data transformation initiatives within large financial services programs. Deliver strategic business analysis, functional and technical specifications, data platform design, regulatory reporting, and user‑acceptance testing within Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments. **Expectations** - Minimum 3 years as a Business/Data Analyst in consulting or IT services, preferably with financial services experience. - Master’s‑level education (Bac+5) in Engineering, Business, or related field. - Strong command of French and English (both written and spoken). **Key responsibilities** - Conduct comprehensive business analysis across finance, risk, procurement, and compliance, capturing complex stakeholder needs. - Develop functional and technical specifications for custom solutions (data platforms, AI, reporting tools). - Lead design, implementation, and enhancement of regulatory reporting and performance‑management systems, centring data strategy. - Define and oversee QA/UAT strategy, coordinate user testing, and monitor production deployments. - Champion technology adoption and change management, translating technical solutions into business‑friendly language. - Manage project deliverables (budget, schedule, resources) using Agile methodologies. **Required skills** - Proficient SQL; expertise with at least one data visualization or preparation tool (Power BI, Tableau, Dataiku, BusinessObjects). - Deep understanding of project life‑cycle management, Agile practices, and detailed specification writing. - Excellent communication and facilitation skills, able to lead high‑impact workshops and collaborate with cross‑functional teams. - Proactive, detail‑oriented, and intellectually curious about emerging technologies. **Required education & certifications** - Bac+5 (Engineering, Commerce, or equivalent). - No specific professional certifications required, though knowledge of project management (PMP, Prince2) or data analytics (Tableau Desktop Specialist) is a plus.
