Job Description
**Job Title:** IT Support Technician (Level 1/2) – F/H **Role Summary:** Provide on‑site and remote first‑ and second‑line IT support for workstations, tablets, and telephony across the main site and its subsidiaries. Responsible for imaging, configuration, access management, incident resolution, and IT asset inventory within a Windows‑centric environment. **Expectations:** - Minimum 5 years of comparable experience in proximity IT support. - Clear, pedagogical, and diplomatic communication with end‑users. - Strong service orientation and ability to build trusted relationships. - Willingness to travel between sites as required. **Key Responsibilities:** - Image and deploy desktops, laptops, tablets, and phones (full configuration, accessories, software, network settings, MFA, VPN). - Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows 10/11) and standard office tools. - Set up and manage peripherals and network devices (DHCP, VLAN). - Administer user access rights and permissions. - Receive, triage, and resolve incident tickets (Level 1/2). - Supervise and track IT inventory and stock levels. - Utilize remote support tools (FastViewer, AnyDesk) and endpoint management (Matrix42). **Required Skills:** - Proficient with Windows 10/11 deployment and support. - Experience using imaging/endpoint management tools (e.g., Matrix42). - Knowledge of networking concepts (DHCP, VLAN, VPN – FortiClient). - Familiarity with remote support solutions (FastViewer, AnyDesk). - Strong problem‑solving and ticket‑handling abilities. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to manage inventory and follow ITIL‑style processes. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. - Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator) are a plus but not mandatory.
