Job title: Backend Developer (M/F)
Role Summary: Design, develop, and maintain server‑side components, custom plugins, and API integrations to support internal tools and third‑party systems. Collaborate with front‑end and cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable backend solutions.
Expections:
- Minimum 3 years of professional programming experience
- Strong proficiency in PHP and MySQL
- Familiarity with GIT, Composer, and relational database design
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well‑tested code
- Basic front‑end knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS, jQuery, VueJS) for API data structuring
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and quick learning ability
- Knowledge of OpenCart system is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and maintain custom plugins and backend functionalities
- Build internal tools for logistics, customer service, reporting, invoicing, etc.
- Create and manage API integrations with internal and external systems
- Collaborate with front‑end developers to supply structured, usable data
- Test, debug, and uphold code quality and reliability
- Participate in code reviews, CI/CD pipelines, and documentation
Required Skills:
- PHP, MySQL, SQL (relational databases)
- GIT version control
- Composer dependency management
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, VueJS (basic)
- RESTful API design and integration
- Debugging, unit testing, and performance tuning
- Version control best practices
Required Education & Certifications:
- Level VI education (equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field) or equivalent experience
- No mandatory certifications, but knowledge of OpenCart or similar e‑commerce platforms is advantageous.
