Job Description

Job Title: Software Engineer – Internship / Apprenticeship Role Summary: Join a high‑growth AI‑powered SaaS company as a full‑stack intern/apprentice, collaborating with product and engineering leadership to design, develop, and deploy scalable e‑commerce solutions. Expectations: • Produce production‑ready code that serves a broad international customer base. • Take ownership of feature development and system reliability in a fast‑paced environment. • Demonstrate continuous learning and the ability to self‑direct while contributing to team efforts. Key Responsibilities: • Backend: handle large data volumes, focus on performance, scalability, and reliability; maintain/extend APIs; automate data processing, backups, and monitoring; contribute to cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP). • Front‑end: design high‑performance UI components in TypeScript/React; translate design mock‑ups into production code; work with product/design teams on user experience. • Collaboration: pair with CTO and engineering peers; influence architecture, performance, and developer experience decisions; propose improvements. Required Skills: • Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js; experience with Python and PostgreSQL strongly preferred. • Front‑end: React.js, modern state management, responsive design. • Backend: RESTful API design, database modeling, data pipelines. • Cloud & DevOps: familiarity with AWS/GCP services, CI/CD, monitoring, and automation. • Soft skills: problem‑solving, ownership, autonomy, teamwork, curiosity, humility. Required Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s level (equivalent to M1/M2) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • Internship or prior professional experience is a plus.
