Job Description

**Job Title:** Junior Product Data Assistant **Role Summary:** Responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and enrichment of product information within the company’s product database and forthcoming PIM system. Works closely with purchasing, marketing, sales, and suppliers to collect, validate, and structure product data for use across digital channels and catalogues. **Expectations:** - Maintain high data quality standards and timely updates. - Support migration to the new PIM and optimize data structures. - Deliver accurate product descriptions, technical specs, visuals, and related documents. - Collaborate cross‑functionally to enhance product visibility and alignment with marketing strategies. **Key Responsibilities:** - Update and maintain the product reference repository: visuals, descriptions, arguments, technical attributes, and documentation. - Verify supplier data for completeness and compliance; identify and resolve inconsistencies. - Contribute to the development and enrichment of the new product catalogue: categorisation, hierarchy, and attribute definitions. - Participate in PIM configuration, data migration, testing, and issue resolution. - Harmonise product data standards and formats across internal and external stakeholders. - Coordinate daily communication with suppliers, purchasing, marketing, web and sales teams to ensure reliable product information. **Required Skills:** - Strong Excel and ERP knowledge; familiarity with PIM tools preferred. - Excellent data analysis, structuring, and quality‑control skills. - Ability to interpret technical documents, screenshots, and attribute lists. - Creative aptitude for presenting product information (copy, layout, visuals). - Effective written and verbal communication; stakeholder management. - Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated, and capable of working autonomously while supporting team objectives. **Required Education & Certifications:** - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or related field. - Prior internship or alternate experience in product data, product marketing, or database management is advantageous.
